ChatGum’s moderators enforce rules, and help users improve their chat experience. The process of moderating users, and content is not easy.
In general a moderator must be:
- Smart: moderators must be able to figure out who is breaking the rules without being too overzealous
- Active: moderators must use the app more frequently than the average user. If you’re not online, you’re not helping, moderating, or reporting.
- Helpful: being a mod is more than punishing rulebreakers. A big part of being a moderator is helping users who have questions or problems.
- Don’t break the rules: mods who break the rules will be suspended
Becoming a moderator also has benefits, including free MOD VIP, and priority communication with the administration team.
